Emma Alesworth

Emma has over fifteen years’ experience in interpretation and visitor centre planning, having managed a wide range of visitor centre and interpretation projects, both in the UK and overseas. She has expertise in masterplanning, including access and audience plans and business planning, budget management, exhibit development and evaluation, commissioning images and exhibits, graphic co-ordination and working with a range of exhibition specialists.  Emma has a passion for both the arts and conservation and has previously spent five years working in fisheries, assessing commercial fish stocks in South Atlantic for the Falklands government, and also in the Irish Sea for MAFF.  She currently is Associate Director for WWT Consulting.

Emma Bettridge

Emma  is a Producer, Dramaturg and Festival director. She is the Producer for Bristol Old Vic Ferment and Consultant producer for Hunt & Darton. Prior to this she ran Pulse festival at the New Wolsey Theatre for three years and was part of the curatorial group for Caravan2014 (Farnham Maltings/ Brighton Festival). She was an associate reader for the Soho Theatre, a consultant for East to Edinburgh (ACE East initiative) and a peer reviewer for the Wellcome Trust from 2010-2013.  Her passion lies in developing and commissioning new work, with a focus on creating and enabling artists to make the best work they can.

Tom Burton

Technical Advisor

Tom Burton, a technologist with over a decade’s experience in creative and digital technology worked alongside Raucous (2011-14) developing the work of The Stick House. He has co-founded a digital agency where he was technical director. He has been a Board advisor tackling cutting edge research, has run talks on interaction design and has led creative technology for institutions and artists. Currently he is partnering with startups, agencies, individuals and organisations. Combining commercial and agency experience with innovation, technology and creative. Helping to explore ideas and plan and deliver projects.

David Fairclough

David  a Charted Accountant brings over thirty years financial experience of working within theatre.  He as previously worked at the Royal Exchange, Manchester, RSC, Oxford Playhouse and in 1999 joined Bristol Old Vic Theatre as Financial Director.  Fairclough is Company Secretary/Treasurer and a trustee of the Tobacco Factory Theatre, and sits also on the board of Theatre Orchard.  He has keen interest in the theatre ecology of Bristol and now works part-time within the education sector in Bristol.

Louise Gardner

Louise is Head of Communications at Watershed with lead responsibility for the Watershed Brand and Customer Experience.  She has worked in Marketing & Communications in the arts sector for over twenty years.  Louise has previously worked at Cornerhouse in Manchester and Chapter in Cardiff.
